Webroot is the Antivirus software that runs on your computer keeping it safe from viruses, malware, etc. Recently they released a new feature on the business application called Web Shield that integrates a few different layers to help keep you safe while searching the internet.

PCM is excited to be participating in the Road2Hope race on Saturday, November 5th to support EduDeo. Four of our team members have decided to participate in running the 5K Road2Hope race. Here at PCM we see great importance in spreading the gospel to the ends of the earth. Our team is helping accomplish this by supporting EduDeo as they work to transform hearts and minds with the Gospel message of hope through Christian education in developing countries.

Last year we reported on the free Windows 10 upgrade offer from Microsoft. At the time we cautioned businesses to leave it alone for a while to let the operating system mature. Since then a lot has changed and PCM now highly recommends Windows 10 for all business computers.

Recently Mike Tigchelaar joined our team and has been busy getting up to speed on our support tools and best practices. Mike is here on an 8 month co-op term as he completes his studies at Mohawk College. He is currently enrolled in the Computer Systems Technology – Network Engineering and Security Analyst program.
Earlier this year Microsoft announced that they were going to offer free Windows 10 upgrades for a year to those running Windows 7 and Windows 8.1. While Windows 10 for PCs isn’t launching until August, their marketing engine has been working hard to ensure everyone knows about it in advance!
