gold-partnerRecently PCM completed all the requirements to be awarded Microsoft Gold Certified Partner level. We are proud of this achievement and appreciative of our many clients that continue to trust us for their business support.
The Gold Partner status is Microsoft’s highest partner certification level and something that we have been working on for some time. Years ago we started as Registered Partners and then moved up to Certified Partners in 2006. Each level has various training requirements as well as other benchmarks related to sales, customer references and knowledge level of staff. To move up to the Gold level PCM had to complete an additional competency requirement of having multiple staff pass various exams specific to a certain knowledge area. Originally we had earned the “Networking Infrastructure” and “Small Business Specialist” designations and last year we added the “Microsoft Business Solutions” designation required to support the Microsoft Dynamics CRM solution. For each of these designations we had to have multiple staff members score over 80% on various related exams. The last step in this journey to becoming Gold Certified was to complete an anonymous Customer Satisfaction Survey which was completed in March 2010.
So what does this mean for PCM? Our goal is to provide excellent service and knowledgeable support to our clients, many who see us as an extension of their business. Apart from another plaque to hang on the wall it demonstrates that our staff continues to grow their knowledge in this constantly changing and complex world of technology. It also gives us access to more Microsoft resources and a higher level of involvement from the local Microsoft representatives.
So what does this mean for you our clients? While we might be friendly people, this designation also shows that we are constantly sharpening our own skills to serve you better. The Microsoft Partner levels must be renewed annually meaning that we can’t sit back and relax. To maintain the Gold Partner status the requirements must be met each year again, including the customer references and satisfaction surveys. Knowing that we are maintaining our expertise at the highest levels gives you our clients the added assurance of knowing that your business is in good hands.
While we are proud of the new partner status we also humbly recognize that this couldn’t have happened without your continued support. Microsoft requires that multiple customers attest to our skills each year in addition to maintaining a high score on the satisfaction surveys. Thanks again from all of us! We are all looking forward to continuing our most important partnership which is the one between you and us.
