Ed VanderLaan
President
Ed VanderLaan purchased PCM in 1993 after finishing from Mohawk College and continues to be an integral part of the team, focusing primarily on
the sales side of the business. A Certified Microsoft Small Business
Specialist holding Microsoft Certified Partner status as well as ACT! by
Sage and Timeslips certifications, Ed has extensive experience in the
information technology and services industry. Ed truly enjoys making IT
work for his clients and clients in turn appreciate his ability to speak
in plain language and translate their issues into non-technical computer
jargon.
Henrietta VanderLaan
Director
Henrietta is one of the directors of PCM and has been with the company
from the beginning. Henrietta is responsible for the accounting area and
has always ensured that the financial figures balanced at the end of the
year. Her insight and practical financial perspective have been key to
the success of the business.
Adrian VanderLaan
Senior Consultant
Adrian joined PCM in 1998, working primarily in the ACT!/CRM area
throughout the years. With over 10 years of experience in the business,
Adrian has contributed in many ways to the growth and direction of the
company. At the beginning of 2009, Adrian was named a partner in the
corporation and is now one of the company's directors. He continues to
be the main consultant for all ACT! and CRM projects. He is also an ACT!
Certified Consultant and Premium Trainer, as well as a Microsoft
Certified Business Management Solutions Specialist.
David VanderMeulen
Technical Consultant
David joined PCM in 2001 as a technical consultant and now acts as the
primary consultant for onsite support in the general computer area. He
not only specializes in networking and hardware, but also offers skills
in troubleshooting, diagnosis and repair of servers, workstations,
laptops and routers. Prior to joining the PCM team, David worked as
Service Manager at Summit Direct Computers and Field Installer at RDS
Data Group. He is a proud graduate of Mohawk College. He is a Microsoft
Certified Small Business Server Specialist, Desktop Service Technician,
Network Protocol Specialist and Mobile Specialist.
Pattie Atherton
Timeslips Certified Consultant
Pattie joined PCM in 2002 as Office Manager. With over 8 years of
Timeslips experience, she also became a Timeslips Certified Consultant
in 2008. She is the primary trainer for Timeslips and provides support
for billing concerns, database enhancements, and various other areas.
In addition to providing Timeslips consulting/training she is
responsible for billing and various roles in managing the office.
Alvar VandenBeukel
Technical Consultant
Alvar joined PCM in 2006. He is an experienced technical consultant,
working primarily with PCM's general computer clients. Alvar not only
offers client support and remote device management, but also monitors
all clients in the managed services program. Prior to working with PCM,
Alvar was a system administrator at Citi Commerce Solutions of Canada
Ltd. He is a graduate of Mohawk College and has over 10 years of
experience in the computer industry. He is also a Microsoft Certified
Small Business Server Specialist.
